Ok tomorrow might be wet, but we now have light when I do the papers in the morning. I have just filled 150 pots with soil ready for seeds next week – I have also been doing labels as I am rubbish at remembering what is what.
GARDEN
First plants in – plug plants of Chilli Rellergreno; Chilli Demon Red; Chillies Filius Blue; 3 trailing fuchsia, 10 trailing (Ivy) Geranium. All in conservatory. Last 2 are for hanging baskets – t-shirt cutting up due soon.
Watching the weather but think I will plant tomato seeds in next couple of days.
Winter jasmine in porch is in flower – very nice. Lemon tree in Conservatory has flowers – I will wait and see if there are any lemons!
GARDEN
I know it is not spring yet – but I am getting ready. I have ordered a small heater for the greenhouse so I can get started. I have ordered Ruthje and Santiam Sunrise tomato plant seeds. I also have Xmas presents to plant – purple dragon carrots;mstriped tomatoes; red ball Brussel sprouts; yellow courgette golden zucchini and some Brightlights Swiss Chard. And then some organic seed bombs which I will put along front garden by the road – I need to clear of grass first.
GARDENS
A study in the Journal of Applied Ecology has found that regardless of size – gardens in Bristol contributed massively to the production of nectar for insects. Get rid of the lawn, or part of it, plant flowers and herbs (especially useful in cooking and well-being).

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Untangled and put up outside. Lets hope the wind does not blow them away tonight!
MAGIC
Golden lemon verbena leaves, crushed and soaked in boiling water, add finely chopped ginger, lemon juice and honey. Then some brandy and reheat and enjoy!
