We must not weaken environmental legislation and also must preserve our remaining labour laws. I suspect that either the Bill has no substance and is a political gift to the rabid right; or it will enable the rich to get richer and further erode our our precious freedoms that are embodied in law. A Freedom Bill will possibly be just the reverse.
Can we expect a flood of imports from outside the EU which do not meet the high standards we have come to expect? And what will happen regarding Northern Ireland if e.g.safety standards are eroded?
