Surely Calvert-Lewin must start next week, but with Kane and Sterling? Southgate has some interesting decisions to make. Does he forgive the sins of the youngsters at this stage? And in my opinion it is not just about footballing skills at this level (and the Premiership) but about leadership and mental drive on the pitch. When we had Lampard and Gerrard, Hoddle and a host of other skilful players, did we have the leaders on the pitch like Bobby Moore and Jack Charlton? I think all young players today are being taught to be thinkers and leaders on the pitch.
