The yellow sweatshirt I had aged about 4 (Ladybird I think?), the blue Scotland football shirt aged about 6/7 – Why Scotland I have no idea! Maybe being English has always been a bit embarrassing? Wearing shorts to school in freezing weather. Dense fogs that meant we were sent home from school. if on certain bus routes (I was and wasn’t!). School dinners which we had to eat – no choice!
