I have a lot of herbs and am now drying some for winter and friends – the white mesh bags that you can use to collect produce in a supermarket, and save the environment a little bit, are ideal for hanging herbs to dry them in the greenhouse. I was thinking of a name for them ‘Eats, shoots and leaves’ came to mind. Also a pun on herbage/verbage?

World Cup fever is non-existent around here, although the time difference does not help – next England game is at 1am UK time! on a Monday/Tuesday night – will pub profits go up whilst employers in other areas go down?
