Whatever, the price of fuel will continue to spiral. The government in the UK should stop faffing around and support solar and wind – very school, hospital and government buildings should have solar panels and batteries where appropriate, as should every new home. we must become independent in terms of energy supply quickly, the Middle East will not settle into a comfortable peace, or even an uncomfortable one soon. America will have to put boots on the soil in Yemen and Iran if it is to undo the damage it has done, and that is unlikely to work either.
