What is it like to be a racist? This is a question which many should think about! There are the knuckle dragging, flag shagging idiots. Do these people really blame their inadequacies on others? Do they ever look at the people around them in the queue for treatment and wonder why there are so few people from ethnic minorities? Do they show any realisation that the reason they are unemployed or in a shit job is because they are lazy thick bigots? I doubt it, and there is little hope for these Morans.
The second group that needs to answer the question is the person in the middle classes who who would be mortified at being called a racist! But they believe the rhetoric about refugees and people from the ethnic minorities, they secretly (as they would not say it loud) think the changes in society are about migrants rather than changes brought about by social media or austerity. I would love to ask these people what is it like to feel superior to another human being? Are you a better person than a doctor, nurse, teacher, vegetable picker in the fields? Oh, I see, you read the Mail, Express or Telegraph or even the Times, so you have superior knowledge (of course you don’t read the Sun – or just do the crossword!). So I would ask you – what is it like to be a racist? You may even have a friend ‘of colour’ but they do not count as they belong to the WI or golf club. So another question – what is it like to live a life of lies? A life where you delude yourself that you are not racist whilst it is blatantly obvious that you are, a life where you will believe obvious lies for your own benefit (migrants are taking our homes is an example despite there being over a million empty houses and 1.7 million second homes in the UK). Do facts annoy you? They distract from your arguments and beliefs.
