Whist numbers of cases appear fairly constant, the numbers of deaths and hospitalisations have not risen. I am aware that there is a 7 to 10 day time lag here. But it is also interesting that a leading scientist has said COP26 may have spread the virus to the UK?
There appear to be rumours of a covid passport and ‘working from home’ instructions being considered for Xmas. The Nigerian Ambassador, quite fairly I believe stated that the travel restrictions were a form of apartheid. South Africa identified the variant and told the world, and was immediately punished with travel restrictions which are of little benefit. Which countries are starved of vaccines – or made to pay the exorbitant prices?
There seems to be a diminishing amount of morality in this world. I am an atheist who can envy those with moral beliefs based on a religion. What I find deeply abhorrent are those who claim some sort of morality whilst being totally self-centred and lacking compassion. I guess this includes most of the cabinet?
