If I am interpreting this graph correctly – more than half the electricity we produce is ‘Conversion, Transmission and distribution losses? Surely this could be made more efficient? More local electricity generation? Although the National Grid are spending billions to connect up with new Hinkley Point.

Further proof of the lack of integrity is the fact that he has not resigned. And that members of his cabinet either continue to pedal lies on his behalf, or hide from the press! And meanwhile the right wing rebel against Plan B covid safety measures quoting ‘freedom’ whilst also voting to stop peaceful protests. Hypocrisy seems to be a requirement for Tories.
WINDFARMS
The Norfolk Boreas Windfarm is likely to get the go ahead despite major concerns regarding its impact on endangered sea birds. As with all changes caution needs to be exercised. Windfarms have a reasonably footloose locational demand, therefore it may not be necessary for that exact location. The impact on birds has been known for decades, I think a wind farm in Gibraltar had to close 20 years ago due to its impact on raptors.
POLICE and Omertà
Do we actually have a police force? There is a well shared video regarding a party in Downing Street and the police say there is no evidence? What colour are police cars nowadays – I have not seen one for a couple of years? In the past rich people would give money for honours, now it seems that honours are give for silence.
PLAN B
Work from home unless going to a party. Wear a mask unless you are a Tory MP in Parliament. How recent is a recent lateral flow test? And what are the punishments? We know the vast majority will follow the letter of the advice, but is is plain that people from many different parts of society will not.
