BUDGET

What I would like to know its where the money actually goes? NHS is short of doctors and nurses, schools are short of teachers, the police is short of personnel, the armed forces have cut numbers, council services for the community have been cut, and all have had budget cuts. yet we have had, prior to the pandemic, a decade of high employment and a growing population that must have meant higher tax income with less expenditure?

There are two or three possible answers. 1. Government contracts for services are over priced and handing money to mates. 2. Whitehall and the civil service is vastly overstaffed and inefficient. 3. Tax avoidance is more rife than previously stated.

Or 4. the whole economic system we have now is NFFP?
