I love my country after all. Every picture tells a story and the numbers from the photos seems to show that the vast majority of the british people are lovely, caring and WOKE! I was descending into a dark place regarding our society but this morning, post BC (before coffee) I am smiling at things. It will not last as I am already grieving for the Great Barrier Reef.

We should stop calling them Right Wing thugs. They are just viscious racist criminals. To call them right wing implies a modicum of thought and understanding; it also gives succour to the likes of Farage and his manipulative cohorts. The country they claim to want back left with Thatcher in the 1980’s with the closure of industry and the economic changes that forced women out to work.

Of course it has to rise to plug the gaps left by the last government. Then it has to go up more so Labour can implement change. Stopping the winter fuel allowance for all pensioners makes absolute sense. Next up should be a wealth tax – my house has risen in value by over 100% in the last 20 years, a 10% tax on the unearned growth in value on sale (or transfer) would would fair and just.

There seems to be a clear difference between those with genuine concerns about migration and criminal elements who come prepared for arson and looting. Basically those with genuine concerns will use the democratic process of writing/meeting their MP or councillor. However there is a criminal element who will shout “We want our country back’ as they hurl bricks and break into premises.

Farage and Reform nobs fan the flames, and I am not aware of the last leader of this country, or his cabinet going to the press to calm things down. They are as guilty as each violet thug for the injuries suffered by the police. Surely all politicians should put their own agendas to the side to ensure we have peace on the streets. But no – the sad wankers are doing their best to drum up trouble without realising that it is the right wing media that is manipulating them.

Stochastic terrorism is targeted political violence that has been instigated by hostile public rhetoric which is directed at a group or an individual. Unlike incitement to terrorism, stochastic terrorism is accomplished by using indirect, vague, or coded language that allows the instigator to plausibly disclaim responsibility for the resulting violence.^[1] A key element is the use of social media and other distributed forms of communications where the person who carries out the violence has no direct connection to the users of violent rhetoric.

I print this letter with tears in my eyes at what social media has allowed, at what shameless pathetic cowards publish hiding behind the anonymity of the internet, what governments have allowed the internet to become, and beyond all, for the grief caused to a good, honest (if a bit sweaty and angry) young lady. Supertanskii has never advocated violence, is incredibly funny at times, and mirrors the behaviour and thoughts of my own children. And above all else – what have the last 14 years done to my country and society.

I bloody love the Olympics. The opening ceremony was a little too chaotic for me – I loved the bit with the three children early on but all in all a brilliant spectacle worthy of the event and the country of France. Of course the British p`ress were doewn on it like a ton of bricks – they really do not know how to be nice or understand anything that is 21st century or foreign, in this case both! No the British media are for some reason obsessed with Strictly Come Dancing and the bullying and possible misogyny? Is this their go to headlines for the next few months as Harry and Meghan seem to have adopted a low profile, the Labour Party is uncovering major examples of tory corruption and incompetence, and the leadership contest for the Conservative Party looks like being restricted to those guilty of the above!
