The virus might be bit of a challenge – but stop making excuses for total incompetence. Going to the moon was uncharted territory, finding and working out D.N.A. was a challenge.
For fucks sake, it is a virus like flu and it seems to spread fast and we do not have a vaccine, our tests do not work 100%, old people are more likely to die, prolonged exposure may make it more likely to be fatal, young people seem to be less affected, the government are running around like headless chickens (do they really do that?). So we know lots already. We also know some drugs help treatment and bleach is probably best not ingested unless you POTUS!
So we have had some options available in the summer when infection rates were low, but predicted by every sensible scientist and epidemiologist to rise in the autumn. So what did our politicians do – fucked off on holiday to Scotland or wherever, encouraged people to go to restaurants to help spread the disease; send students zooming around the country to be super spreaders. None of this is hindsight, so shut the fuck up.
Dildo Harding and the test and take the money programme has been a massive failure of criminal proportions. Lets employ 20000 people to sit around and not phone anyone.
What makes me most annoyed is that Dr.Snow sussed out a few basic principles of epidemiology in 1854. 166 years later and we re still faffing about – its like the fucking government are pissed or stoned! Which dickhead thought it a good idea to ignore local experts with regard to test and tracing. Oh the ones who want to hand over hundreds of millions to friends and supporters.
I would announce that I was going to nationalise all their assets, and if they sold them I would still take them – no one would buy them then anyway. Dickyheads. (sounds better than dickheads as it takes the piss a bit more?).
So the Parish Plan.
- An intensive test and trace and isolate and support programme fo a number of contrasting regions/areas. We need to know more about transmission, etc.
- Quarantine for all people coming into UK. If they cannot afford an reasonable hotel bill they would be sent back.
- Covid marshalls to verify compliance with restrictions. Check shops and restaurants, etc. If compliant let them continue.
- A general reduction in travel above 20km from home.
And what is it with the morons across Europe and North America who claim that having to wear a mask, socially distance or doing anything else that a normal nice person might consider as being sensible, is against their civil liberty.. Oh they have Trump leading them. And I have met some of them in the early morning at the shop – arrogant wankers who walk in as if they own the place, and obviously do not give a shit about anyone else. But then I have to think what is it about their lives which causes them to behave in such a way?
Are they – I was going to say thick, but that is too simple, and now I am getting stuck! What is it about Joe Bloggs who comes in and f’s and f’s in the morning. He is probably fairly hard working (comes in shop before 7am. And is very angry – too much coffee? But why doers he not wear a mask? Possibly he has missed all the adverts as to why this is protecting other people. He always says hello and obviously does not hate everyone. Does he believe that Covid does not exist and is a government plot? I don’t think so. I think he is saying “my life is fucking difficult enough as it is, don’t make it any more difficult”.
