RHS BRIDGEWATER

It also reminds me of the Soil Association project in yesterdays paper where trees are being planted to co-exist with grazing animals. Lots of innovation is taking place in the farming community.

My garden – I think I will get 3 new pots for the citrus trees. 40 or 50 cm pretty ones. That will give me 3 pots for the mints! Then repot the houseplants in small pots that keep falling over. I fed the tomatoes and cucumber (only one remaining) today, so will leave feeding until the weekend.

Greek basil is growing but overcrowded – I will separate this week into another 20 pots? I could sell for a pound each or if get bigger £1.50., Given the problem in getting the seeds maybe £2?

I am going to give Aaron and Kate some herbs tomorrow. Sage, rosemary, thyme, possible some mint and oregano? A bit of fennel from the drive! a handful of bay leaves. With a promise of dill and tarragon should they want some.
