WOW

Is there a competition for who can be the most useless member of Government. Johnson for denying that there was a party even though people who attended are laughing about it. Dominic Raab being totally unable to justify withdrawal from Afghanistan debacle.Johnson denying that he gave permission for cats and dogs to be evacuated from Kabul. Sunak justifying tax evasion. Government says ‘sorry’ for Grenfell fire. Sleaze-Dogg also has been filmed laughing about it.

CORRUPTION

Michael sleaze Gove stated in parliament that ‘Every single procurement decision went through an 8 stage process’. Apart from the 46 that did not, including the £164million contract awarded to David Seller (a donor to Gove’s leadership campaign). A total of £5 billion was handed out to “VIP” companies with Westminster connections.

And meanwhile the Sun harps on about Harry and Megan. The Sun can do what it wants, it just grieves me that they think this shite is what the public want to read?

I am not yet convinced corruption is involved but a form of apartheid seems to be occurring regarding the numbers being vaccinated. Is enough being done to correct the social and racial discrepancies that are apparent in many areas.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Surely we should have weekly or at lest monthly press briefings on the Covid style regarding climate change. What progress has been made, what new threats are appearing? Scientists and experts could support whoever leads the briefings. I suspect not Johnson as his knowledge of the environment is almost certainly less than my grandchildren’s!

LEVELLING UP AND THE NORTH

The fact that thousands are still without electricity 9 days after a storm is a snapshot of its importance to the Government. It quite likes the new ‘red wall’ blue seats – but not enough to really care. Axing investment in Northern railways is a symptom. A truly concerned government would be investing in the northern infrastructure.

COVID

Where. are we now? It is almost certain that other variants will develop in poorer countries where vaccines are not available. In which the Pfizer vaccine costs the UK government £22 per shot whilst the manufacturing cost is estimated at 79p! Pfizer profits b$36 billion. That is a lot of pay back for the R&D!

WATER COMPANIES

These privatised companies without competition and a licence to print money for shareholders have a problem brewing. Whilst they are struggling to justify pumping shit into rivers and the sea, they know that most people probably do not care.
