What has only been commented in passing is the horrific cost of the war. Missiles costing $1million each being like darts at the Ally Pally championships. Does any of these bozzo’s ever consider that aid to humanitarian governments could have a much more positive outcome. And what is the ecological impact on the planet from from all the airstrikes – arguments have been made in the past that China is producing so much CO2 that we should not bother. Does the constant air strikes by Israel and the US over the last few years have an impact? The men in suits do not care – with their $multimillions they believe they are insulated from harm.
Unfortunately many people are too busy for anything other than the headlines. On a different matter I do not believe there is a greater competition in the world than the FACup. 732 teams started the competition last year. Other countries have cups but none have the history and glamour of the FACup. Only Manchester United have demeaned the competition by withdrawing in favour of a meaningless FIFA competition.
