DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – Fucking angry!

data obtained by the Guardian shows that 41% of the 899 people arrested for taking part in last summers violent disorder had already been referred to the police for domestic abuse. Basically knuckle dragging thugs. Do as I say or I will thump you, I may even thump you because, just because! The 41% figure is similar to other research carried out by the counter terrorism police and Home Office.

What to do about it is the question that needs answering. Should there be a domestic abuse register, like that regarding child abuse? Should courts/police have the power to recommend/enforce attendance on anger management courses (like the speeding ones) at the accused cost. This is an issue much greater than immigration – the stats are horrific and I copy and paste below.

Domestic abuse is a widespread issue with significant impact. Data indicates that roughly one in five adults experience domestic abuse during their lifetime, with women being disproportionately affected. Police-recorded incidents are on the rise, and a substantial number of these incidents go unreported.

1.35 million. The police recorded 1,350,428 domestic abuse-related crimes and incidents in England and Wales in the year ending March 2024. https://www.ncdv.org.uk/domestic-abuse-statistics-uk/

A domestic abuse related call is made to the police every 30 seconds. 89% of people referred to our service seeking civil protection orders last year were women. Women are more likely to experience repeat victimisation, be physically injured or killed and experience sexual violence.

In England and Wales, domestic violence results in a significant number of deaths each year. For the year ending March 2024, there were 108 domestic homicides, with 83 female victims and 25 male victims. A concerning statistic is that 66 of these victims were killed by their partner or ex-partner.Additionally, 262 domestic abuse-related deaths were recorded, including 98 suspected suicides following domestic abuse. Women are disproportionately affected, with 78% of female victims of domestic homicide being killed by a partner or ex-partner, and 92% of female homicide victims being killed by a man. The risk of serious assault and death is particularly high for women after leaving an abusive relationship, with 38% of women killed by an ex-partner being killed within the first month of separation, and 89% within the first year, according to the Femicide Census.

Key Statistics:

  • Total Domestic Homicides (Year ending March 2024): 108
  • Female Victims: 83
  • Male Victims: 25
  • Killed by Partner/Ex-Partner: 66
  • Domestic Abuse-Related Deaths (Year ending March 2024): 262, including 98 suspected suicides
  • Women killed by partner/ex-partner: 78% of female domestic homicide victims, according to the government
  • Women killed by men: 92% of female homicide victims, according to the government
  • Women killed by ex-partner within one month of separation: 38%, according to the Femicide Census
  • Women killed by ex-partner within one year of separation: 89%, according to the Femicide Census

I am humbled and feeling guilty for being a man!

The likes of Farage think it is ok to support the likes of these people who abuse their families whilst condemning those who are escaping persecution and prejudice, want to become part of our tax paying and civil society.

FUCK ISRAEL

So they are having a limited pause to allow aid to be brought in – Is that before they start shooting children again? Starmer is recaalling the Cabinet – I hope it is not just to whip them into line – Palestine needs to be recognised NOW! he is also having a meeting with the war criminal Trump, let us hope he gets off his knees and stands up to the bully.

Police brutality? So a man walking home from his allotment is reported as having a knife, and the police quite correctly apprehend him – maybe with a little too much force. However rather than examine his story, and the fact that the Niwaki blade was sheathed, they took him to the police station, denied him a solicitor (they claimed one was nat available). He was only released after admiting possession of an offensive weapon and was released with a caution. What happened to common sense? Do people in Manchester regularly walk the streets with a tool belt with gardening items looking for a fight? FM! he even had a trug of produce with him!

Whilst on the subject of police brutality Dale Vince has called for a public inquiry into the “Battle of the Beanfield”. I am not sure a public inquiry is necessary we all know that the police went over the top – police paid out £24000 in damages and it was definitely a political act. 530 new age travellers were heading for Stonehenge and were attacked by the police. having said this I also believe the police have an unenviable job dealing, for the most part, with the dregs of society and the mentally disturbed. It has long been my assertion that the police should be allowed a free meal at any school at lunch time. They should avoid McDonalds and Burger King etc. Sitting down with students for a civilised chat would do wonders for community relations, be good’ish for their health and pockets (dinner would be free). They could be seen, and see, normal people in a relaxed situation. is this what the ‘bobby on the beat’ used to do in the past before they got tooled up in their cars with go faster stripes and lights? Cost nothing: Benefits potentially huge. And if they smell canabis they should ignore it – the strip searching of teenage girls should be treated for what it is -paedophilia !

Climate disasters continue anabated across southern Europe this summer. Huge wildfires are devastating Greece, mainland and islands; and Turkiye. The deputy mayor of Kythhera made an interesting statement which was not noted in the UK Press – he said ‘Everything, from houses, beehives (too) olive trees had been burnt”. In the UK we would mention possessions and tec devices, not wildlife and the ecosystem.

And for those with a surplus of runner beans a recipe.

WONT GET FOOLED AGAIN

and again and again! Immigration is to of the voters concerns. These are not reasoned arguments but the knuckle draggers opinions formed by Farage and his publicity seeking cohort. send them home is the rallying call; especially as they all live at tax payers expence in 5 star hotels with room service and have free handouts of cash to bet with. And the press promotes this garbage as catching headlines. There are not newspapers and advertising to be sold by undermining the populist shite issued. When was the last time an asylum seekers full story was told? How many are from Afghanistan, Iraq or Libya – for which the British governments of the past are culpable of creating a destabilised situation. We are guilty in other areas too – Somalia and other African countries have been undermined by government ignoring bribery and corruption.

What is it about the ignorant, often tattooed, individuals who think that their physique (large and white), gives them the right to act as judge, juror and even executioner of a human being who was not fortunate enough to be born in Western Europe in the 21st century.

Can I ask how many of the protestors in Epping and recently in ballymena and Belfast, have a degree, or any educational qualification? Yes I know this is arrogance on my part, but is a truth, nonetheless. Intelligent people do not generally riot on the streets and attack police and emergency vehicles; intelligent people do not attack hotels and private property with the motif being hatred or jealousy. The pen will always, ultimately be greater than the sword!

And all the while Israel is getting on with genocide and the physical destruction of Gaza. I hope the thick bastards …. oh… I just fucking give up! What is the point in arguing with a turd? I will still smell and alook awful?

Also interesting – the two guys who cut down the tree on/bye Hadrians Wall were pursued by the police who accessed their phone data and internet communications. And I consider myself an environmentalist – but it was only a fucking tree! And yet racist hate mail against public figures, most recently Jess Carter of the Lioness’s seems to have gone quiet? Why? I am sure clever criminals can cover their tracks, but the racist moron? It is unlikely! So take away his phone, computer, login details, and make public their bile.

A REPLY

Labour have very little connection with the left anymore so they can carry on pushing the right wing parties further right until they get into power and well fuck that, so fuck labour and starmers crocodile tears for 50,000 murdered children in Gaza.

Looks like the new party already have more members than labour so hopefully Labour don’t try to split the left vote of the greens and Corbyn/Sultana to let reform in.

I agree with the first paragraph, crocodile tears and all. However i think the writer is being naive if they think that the British Public would vote in a Corbyn/Sultana government. The average British voter is fairly centre on most topics, basically conservtive in finance and traditions, but liberal regarding social trends and life in general. The press (and I include the BBC) will not allow a left wing government – they will persecute every fault, however minor. The best bet for Labour was with Corbyn in the party and a strong left wing element. This isna return to past times. Until there is proportional representation we are stuck with the same old fudge. In some ways Farage is correct – the status quo has let us down for years. Personally I would be happy with a Rayner/Milliband leadership.

Starmer promised much but has lurched/leaped to the right. I so hope I am wrong that his position on Israel is unlikely to yield positive results. If we should declare war (which I fervently hope will never happen) it should be on the state of Israel. Why is Starmer so afraid of being seen to be anti-semite – he should just stand up and tell the world that he fucking htes what Israel is doing and cut off diplomatic relationships with the bastards.

Trump is here, he is treating us like a fucking holiday home! And Starmer is fawning at the gates of the orange twat! Tell him to stop supplying weapons to Israel or his prescence is not welcome. Oh and I would have about a hundred more conditions regarding climate change, International Law and tariffs. International issues are not ours to dictate – he should be reminded of this too!

COULD BE FUN?

South Park creators sign $1.5 billion deal with Paramount and then totally slag them off, and then have a total go at Trump who earlier leant on Paramount to pull a CBS headline show for being anti- his greatness!

America loves litigation so I expect this one to have legs – especially as it may deflect attention from the Epstain files. Trump arrives in Scotland this afternoon and can expect a hostile reaction – if protestors can get close enough!

More killing – this time between Thailand and Cambodia.

But back to Palestine – the police seem to be over zealous in arresting people who they suspect supporting Palestinian Action. What has the Government unleashed here? Two arrests were of 75 and 80 year old women (held under the Terrorism Act – max imprisonment 14 years). These were two concerned citizens who wish to draw attention to the horror that Israel has descended on Gaza. Their homes were broken into by the police and searched for 3 hours by 10 police. I just have a simple question – why? The actions of Israel are egregious in the extreme. Presumably the police are acting under instructions from the Home Secretary and passed on via Chief Constables. When our purported leaders are unable to take action about clear wrongs we are descending into fascism. And under a Labour government to boot!

France has shown bottle of sorts – saying it will recognise the Palestinian state later next month – do it now. Starmer has a meeting with the Paedeophile on Monday – maybe he is waiting until after as he is scared. The Guardian reports on pland by Israeli developopers to remove Palestinians and create an I Israeli beach resort – deja vu? The world must not let this happen.

In Epping the fascists have been having a lovely time – abusing the police both verbally and physically. And it is over “apparently an asylum seeker tried to kiss a 14 year old girl”. Not the worst offence – and I would be sure that every protestor has been guilty of worse.

Corbyn and Sultana new party – I am cusiously welcoming it. The politics is a given. But thinking bigger – will it allow Reform to gain seats, will it underine the Greens? As ever I have not got a fucking clue!

WORDS FAIL

When there are no words left to describe the horror that is Gaza under Israeli punishment – then action is needed. The British Government can probably make no difference, but they should leave nothing untried. As members of the UN Security Council they could bring a motion of condemnation. Recognising Palestine would be a good start. banning all arms deals with Israel and 3rd parties, putting travel bans on any of the toxic Israeli Government leaders would show at least some balls. Starvation of a nation should not happen in the 21st century. And yet Shelagh Foggity at LBC was acting as an apologist for the Israeli Government yesterday. I never want to see a photo of a child, or anyone else who is being starved to death.

I am sure Hamas deserve some of the guilt, but Israel has been spending $billions in bombing Gaza and yet has still not defeated them (this is there claim). They have destroyed hospitals and schools and have killed more hostages than they have liberated. It seems to me that Hamas is the excuse for genocide rather than the reason. Can there ever be a reason for genocide?

there is no other relevant news! But the DMail leads with story of asylum seekers using government cards for gambling – pathetic journalism.

DILEMMA

The trash papers are stuck not knowing what to do. Starmer is doing OK as far as the RWP are concerned. Badenoch is worse than useless and Farage is not trusted. So what can they report? Gaza is too horrific and they live in fear of being called anti-semetic, or anti-Trump. Ukraine is old news. Climate denying is just not popular. Small boat migrants are always a good headline but even here there seems to be sensible progress, and it is old news. So we have front pages occupied by Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

Foggity on LBC was banging on about “what Israel should do” as being a bad thing to say – she thinks Hamas should also be targeted around being responsible. I personally think that day has passed. Israel’s government is out of order and should be treated as a terrorist organisation. Palestine should be recognised by the UK government. Yes, of course the remaining hostages, if still alive, should be released. Israel cannot legitamately dispute the number of civilians killed as they refuse to let foreign journalists into the region.

Climate is another area ignored for want of upsetting the denyers. But the UN has just announced that solar is 41% of the cost of fossil fuels whilst onshore wing is also below 50% of the cost. And I might be wrong here, but in the UK power generation is linked to gas prices, that making green energy appear more expensive. Over the past year in the UK 37.5% has been provided by renewables and 29.8% by gas. Nuclear is 14.3% of the renewable total.

So the government should reintroduce the the supplement for energy produced and submitted to the National Grid by households. Instant injection of capital for energy production with no initial cost to government. Price paid to housholds would fluctuate with demand and supply – so no more expensive than gas. Capital investment return for households should be not be more than 8years and subsidy should be at least 20 years. Similar schemes should be created for community projects like wind generators. Come on – set my ambitions on fire and do it!

LIES

So Farage is banging on about lawless Britain – this appeals to the weak and poor, who need someone to blame for their plight. He claims that 1 in 3 people in London have been victims of phone theft – that equates to abot 3 million people – the Met Police put the figure at 80000 phone thefts last year. Obviously this is too high, but also if people did not walk around with their phones in hand the rate would be much lower; and people would be happier! He also claims that Britain is broken – Brits love a sob story and negativity. That is why the tabloid and trash papers are full of cheating and divorce, marital breakups and family squabbles (e.g. Beckhams). Personally I do not care whether someone who I have never met finds their life in disarray. Maybe I am fortunate in living is a remarkably safe area.

So Farage will get more prisons built and have a 3 strikes and life imprisonment policy. He ignores the fact that imprisonment actually increases crime – reoffending rates are about 80%. Reducing poverty would be better and have community service fully established for petty crime. The need for punishment is strong with bullies and the ignorant. Prison should be saved for those who need society to be protected from them.

I hate the fucking ignorant bastaard. And all who vote for the wanker. Using false statistics to keep his hate agenda running is absolutely obnoxious. Labour should counter his sick beliefs with the truth and a positive spin. SHIT – I just had a thought that most people in the UK want to be fucking miserable; spend their life moaning; and not just about the weather (On which I would say we have the most perfect weather in the world. Extremes of temperature or precipitation are rare (despite the shite papers reporting like everyday is a nightmare! Basically we live in Goldilocks land – and people hate the concept of not being able to moan.

So could the British population concentrate on giving shit, where shit is due. Israel and Gaza and West Bank, Putin and Ukraine, even Sudan; NHS (definitely needs sorting after 12 years of calamity), migration which needs honest comments, water supply which needs nationalisation, the care home problem, climate change which also needs honesty. There that is enough to keep anyone miserable without resorting to lies.

On the positives – weather, NHS, migration, – basically Britain is a wonderful place to live despite some rich twat trying to talk it down! If he does not like it he should fuck off and live somewhere else – oh he has!

HACKERS

Twice in the last week hackers have tried – both times immitating government departments. Firstly DWP said I needed to register by last Wednesday to ensure I could receive a winter fuel payment of £300 – then an email from DVLA stating that my monthly payment for car tax was refused and asking me to send upto date info. Baastaards all. They did not quote my reg number so def a scam. I guess I was identified via the Co-op hack? £2.3 billion have been scammed in the uk in 2024. Time to employ some of the computer gamers ?

£27 billion cost to NHS of poor maternity care in legal claims. And Jermey Hunt, former Health Secretary has the gaul to blame the current government. Labour now needs to drain the swamp and inject whatever money is needed and raise a specific tax to pay for it. It is irrelevant how much they are spending at present – any failure is one two many.

Good news for the BBC – ‘Bluey’ helped the income from commercial sales to top £2.2 billion. Now it is up to Labour to appoint a new board to be independent. The same goes for the water industry. Making cosmetic changes will not do. Announcement today by Government is likely to be walls and mirrors. 13 years of Tory rule allowed the gross negiligence by OFWAT in allowing the pollution of our water.

VOTING AGE

So 16 year olds will be able to vote. This move in the national elections of Scotland and Wales did not result in much comment. The Conservatives and Ridiculous Parties have pointed out that a 16 year cannot marry, go to war or stand in an election. All actually reasonable comments! I was married at 23 and think that in terms of maturity that was 30 years too soon! Going to war – the universal age should be raised to 80! And regarding the age of election, immature twerks have been elected in the past – physical age does not equal intelligence and maturity. as a teacher I came across many people whom I would consider unfit to vote – and not exclusively students, or their parents but staff as well. The likely turnout of students is low – some predict as low as 5%. Labour will also expand voter recognition – why not just abolish it? The amount of voter fraud is less than negligible. Oh no – my brain has just had another ridiculous thought!

Here goes – why not have a fairly simple form that has to be filled in by candidates. This would be fairly comprehensive and ensure that we know what we are voting for. Say there were 25 questions (could be more or less), covering everything from health, education, policing, defence, pot holes, housing, migration, climate change, whatever.. Candidates would have to give a grade 1-10 (10 highest) – but would onlybe allowed 3 10’s and would have a maximum of e.g. 150 (I have not thought this bit through- maybe an average of 5 per question to avoid jerks saying they care equally about everything) points to allocate. A similar form would be available for voters to see who most represents their views. Voters would still have the ability to chose a different candidate.
