Is there anything more important? Tory MP’s are campaigning against their own governments policy.
LEST WE FORGET
COVID
BANKS
Basically they do not make anything other than humungous profits. Credit Suisse is the last to be caught out money laundering and with trade with criminals and despots. This is no surprise. The bankers in London will expect around £4 billion in bonus payments. THIS IS WRONG – WRONG- WRONG.
STORM FRANKLIN
Looks like a load of rain coming our way – and a bit of hooley. I guess it is winter so does not matter much to most of us – I wonder how farmers are coping?
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH JOHNSON
If his lips are moving I know he is lying.
WEATHER
Storms Dudley and EU NICE were not unprecedented. However this year has seen very mild weather so far. One frosty morning down here. It seems we may need to get used to storms being stronger rather than more frequent. Insurers are already talking of paying out millions. There would appear to be no easy solutions. Did London’s buildings cause positive or negative friction? Presumably studies will be done.

ALL-PARTY PARLIAMENTARY GROUPS
APPG’s have received more than £13 million from private firms in what can only be seen as lobbying. They obviously have too much money to spare so tax them and be impartial. Another reason to disrespect democracy in the UK.
EU NICE
Windy and noisy here. Peak due at 11-12am. rather strange at 6.30 as it was rather clam with a few gusts. Main problem maybe the water level in the Bristol Channel with a full moon and a spring tide combining with the south-westerly gale forcing water up the Bristol Channel. The Environment Agency has prepared pumps out on the Somerset Levels.
