Of course government taxation and funding actions will make a major difference. But remember these policies are dictated by think tanks and focus groups. Locally I think that the next field to be proposed for development should be compulsory purchased by the council for allotments (and no I do not want one). But I believe there is a shortage of allotments, they produce local food and thus cut food miles, most are organic and therefore will encourage wildlife – win-win-win.
Every part of society needs to say how they will help. Schools, colleges, shops, offices, businesses, charities, religions, everyone can do something!
