VINDICTIVE

America bombs a new bridge in Tehran – maybe because then can – no strategic gain, but it will piss off Iranians. There is no apparent objective of military value in taking out key infrastructure. His blockade of Cuba is also proving to be ineffective, Russia is delivering oil whilst China is providing solar panals and solar batteries. Forcing Cuba to realign with Russia and China is counter productive in geopolitical terms, it is like having a vast aircraft carrier in America’s backyard. So Trump’s bully tactics and posteiring are proving to be not only embarrassing but also counterproductive. And the Epstein files are not going away and domestically he is losing support whilst the opposition Democrats are being given time to reorganise after there disarray and disaster at the last election. His tariff war on just about every other country has resulted in a drop in USA manufacturing (100.000 fewer jobs and an increased deficit in trade of manufactured goods). Inflation is in the pipeline and we are not even half way through his second term.

Meanwhile back in the UK Farage is fighting to offset yet more bad publicity created by Reform candidates, I so hope Reform fades in the May council elections and we can stop seeing tadface on our media outlets.

Food supplies are said to be at risk of high inflation due to the increased cost of fertilisers. Organic producers will obviously be less affected. And yet the government wants to build on green belt land and farms? Why are our best brains not looking at the input and output elements of food production?

And children have used swarming tactics to basically riot and shoplift in Croydon. The interesting thing, to me, was that they mainly targetted food outlets like McDonalds, rather than electronic stores to loot! Another example of our bored and disadvantaged and disaffected youth. Bring back the youth clubs and virtually free sports clubs. The economic and health savings would be astronomic!

NATO

So Trump is seriously considering withdrawing from NATO. This is likely to be yet another TACO moment. The US exerts pressure on other member states due to the fact that the US is the largest contributor to the cost. However it does gain legitimacy for its actions that it would not otherwise have; the diplomatic standing of the USA is lower than ever and thus it needs support for its actions. I think Trump was surprised and more than a little annoyed that the UK and other NATO allies did not rush to do his bidding regarding Iran. I would support us withdrawing from NATO and joining a European Alliance with the proviso of not abandoning military links with America. The world is too unstable for another arms race between the the two powers. On Iran Trump is again talking out of his arse and using rhetoric alternating between ‘total destruction’, “putting the country into the Stone Age” and peace talks are going well! I was told that Starmer did not have a plan for what could happen next – How could he? The war is being run by two psycotic psychopaths. Israel is attacking residential areas in Lebanon with no connection with Hezzbolah.

Domestically Trump appeared at a Supreme Court hearing (the first POTUS) to do so, about his attempt to override and change the 14th Amendment. Yet another attempt at bullying – the man has no class!

Meanwhile the British Press is peroccupied with celebrity drama and ‘foreign holidays threatened by the fuel crisis’. Ryan Air boss stated that there was a shortage of aviation fuel in the UK (25% comes from Kuwait. Perhaps there should be a 200% tax on aviation fuel for private planes)?

BONKERS

Daily shite leads by saying Trump’s taunt reveals that Starmer does not have a plan. How can he have a plan when Trump moves the goalposts on a daily basis. The Telegraph quotes Sea Lord as saying that the navy is not ready for war – why should it be? And who supported the government is underfunding the armed services anyway. So the press are like headless chickens clucking around with no idea of which direction to take. But bonkers gold medal yet again goes to Trump for his crass comment that the UK should get its own oil. Actually we do, and most of it comes from Norway you moron! There was no problem in the Strait of Hormuz, in fact most people could not place on a map before the orange man baby threw $15b of his armed toys at Iran. And still the king is going to America to meet the wanker, I am sure that Trump will either wallow in the reflective glow of a monarch for life or try to humiliate him – and Charlie is not the sharpest knife in the box!

The UK is one of the most nature depleted areas of the world and yet twats are still shouting about ending our move to net zero. I will probably never see a merlin, large heath fritters or a burnt orchid but I am aware of the symbiotic relationships between species and know that a decline in one species can have catostrophic impacts across the food chain. Also there is a reported increase in children with mental problems; greater exposure to our green and pleasant land would go a long way. Many children will never see a cow or sheep or chicken or lamb other than in food. Making a daisy chain should be part of the natural curriculum together with appreciation of the shapes clouds make!n

LUNATICS ON THE LOOSE

Not satisfied with Trump imposing a tax on the world population our Kemi has determined that she should have a role in the lunacy. Her ideas are to cut the windfall tax on oil and gas companies and cut back on green energy products whilst she has a magic wand that will miraculously produce oil and gas from the depleted fields in the North Sea. And the conservatives seem to have adopted the attitude that she is a lunatic, ‘but she is our lunatic”! Frog faced Farage joined the lunatic fringe long ago Anyway the press are getting bored with he war, much like Trump himself, and are concentrating on what a BBC presentor may, or may not have done in the past. Only the Times and FT declned to give prominence to the story – what does that say about their editorial decisions and the readership. Is the British public really more interested in the possibly sordid details of a radio DJ than world affairs affecting their pockets? Meanwhile back to Trumps war – not only will oil and gas prices rise, but also fertilisers (and thus food prices), but also any product that is transported – so just about everything!).

Meanwhile Zac Polanski woo’s teachers in a speech at the NEU conference, will be see Unions supporting the greens?. it makes sense after Starmers attack on doctors.

Israeli Government votes to make the death penalty mandatory for acts deemed as terrorism by a military court. What the fuck – and the world leaders (apart from Spain) nod with boredom and continue to allow Israels terrorism to continue.Israel should be under sanctions and considered a pariah state by all other states.

NUMBERS

Today I have a list of numbers! Number of people assisted by RNLI Lifeguards last year = 35000. Since founded in 2002 the lifeguards have have saved 2165 lives and assisted 459354 people; and responded to 333.330 incidents. Number of preventative actions = 48 million. Number killed in Gaza yesterday = 6. Price of oil up 46%. % of drugs produced in the UK = 25% (shortages predicted.

Bonkers Badenoch continues to spout the lie that drilling in the North Sea would reduce household bills by £200. Still everyone with even half a brain knows that – quote Denis Skinner “Not all tories are liars”. But most are incompetent at even lying!

NHS stats are improving but are held back by bed blocking. Care has been neglected by successive governments and there are no easy options, but if the NHS did what its primary duty is I suspect there would be a lot fewer problems.

Pope Leo spoke out about American politicians (i.e. Hegseth and Trump) who prayed for ‘violence against enemies who deserved no mercy ‘ by quoting the bible and stating that God ignores leaders who wage war and have hands full of blood.

And a statistic – at least 8 million Americans demonstrated against the Trump dictatorship yesterday.

REGIME CHANGE

Regime change does not come via aerial bombardment, but by demographic protests. But even these are not sufficient to create a long term change, as the Arab Spring revolutions found. But a start has been made in the USA – No Kings demonstartions took place across the states with perhaps millions attending, and only a few counter demonstrations – notably by convicted criminals pardoned by Trump. As the mid-terms approach Trump and MAGA supporters have been redrawing electoral maps and are even calling for ICE members to be stationed in polling booths. However with Trumps popularity falling fast due to the war it seems that all this may be futile. The Republicans have a massive war chest of $750m compared to the Democrats $193m, but tthe the signs are ominous for Trump – democrats won a byelection which included his home in Florida. Many Americans are not aware that they are paying for the war with Iran via tax and then some via higher fuel prices and fertiliser costs which will hit supermarket shelves next year. On the war it is estimated that the Israeli/USA axis of evil have only destroyed a third of Irans missiles!

In the UK More than 100 charities, campaign groups and trade unions marched in a show of unity against far right politics. estimate of numbers varied between 50000 and 500000. The march was unreported on the BBC news web site! And with 5 weeks to go we can see that Reform have their £14m gift to play with! 5 million days taken as sick days in the UK. The biggest increases were agriculture, forestry and fishing and then manufacturing. All traditionally male dominated employment – then NGO’s, financial and retail/wholesale. Mental problems are also quoted as being on the increase. Are there patterns geographically, socially, demographically, between sexes and age – I want to see the evidence! Only then can we see why and do something about it.

Tec boys getting scared? Or at least likely to have to shell out some of their billions in legal fees and compensation as the campaign against their laxidazical approach to harmful to children content on their web sites escalates.

NO KINGS

Millions of Americans will take to the streets today to protest against Trumps economics, war and generally his autocratic style of government. The No Kings movement has no leaders or organisation. We need something similar here – Oh we have it with the Green Party – and yes it has a leader but is much more democratic than any other party. A question – how will te British Press report the protests? I guess the Daily Express will still be drumming up hatred for migrants after the conviction of a youndg man for rape – no mention of the thousands of Britons who commit rape. The Mail, Farage and Badenoch will lead the whimper for more North Sea exploration despite statistic showing that the hundreds of licences to drill handed out between 2010 and 2024 have yielded just 36 days of gas supply! Do facts matter? Climate change is happening and only the financially motivated or very thick disagree. Back in the USA 2 courts have now fined Meta and Google for their impact on young people, fines totalled $371m, an insignificant amout for the tec giants, but maybe a precursor of things to follow! I also think that the EU is ready for a fight that will make the fines imposed by New Mexico and California insignificant (although the California claim of $6 million could be followed by many, many more!).

HARSH

I have been rather harsh regarding Labours achievements so far. This is not surprising given how Starmer has moved to the right to try and stave off Reform, and the Tory Press concentrating on every mistake. If only they had done the same when the last government were screwing everything up! An instance of this is the condemnation of the government for hiring a German warship for a NATO exercise – warships take years to build so why are they not blaming Johnson, Cameron, Truss and Sunak? NHS waiting tomes have fallen – but for someone in pain 6 months is still too long! Potholes in the roads are still a problem. The welfare budget is a common gripe for people who wark full time and still find it hard to make ends meet, whilst they perceive others to get free rent and handouts. People blame others who are poorer than themselves as they are an easy target rather than the hidden world of opulance and privilege. It is the cost of accomodation that is the problem.

Meanwhile apparently Vape disposal is a problem – easy answer, charge extra and refund when handed in – shops can always do with extra income, and I am sure someone would soon come up with a machine to do it! National Savings debacle has presumably not happened overnight (indeed some people have been waiting up to 6 years for a payout on a berevment) – but the press make it seem like the governmens fault.y

PETULANCE

So Farage walked out in a tantrum after Starmer announced a plan to limit donations fro abroad and in untraceable crypto currency. I am sure all patriots would agree with Starmer – unless they are misogynistic and/or racist bigots! Reform plc will certainly suffer if this plan is enacted.

I got my I am voting Green badges and a Green Party t-shirt. The I had a laugh – would anyone with a brain wear a Reform t-shirt, unless they are pleased to announce that they are racist and thick as as a plank. I have a beret with the badge on – remerance of the “Tooting Popular Front”! Unfortunately the Sandford Popular Front will be sparsely represented!

WHITE RABBIT

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don’t do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she’s ten feet tall

Which pills is Trump taking? He claims talks with Iran are progressing and they are offering him prizes! And at the same time is building up aerial and ground troops. And Israel in occupying Lebanese territory – and the UN does fuck all.

When the men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you’ve just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she’ll know

When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen’s off with her head
Remember what the dormouse said
Feed your head
Feed your head

Meanwhile OFCOM has had to reassess the 1000 claims about climate change – which they originally dismissed. Yet another supposed watchdog that is not up to the task! And various people from Dale Vance to the UK governments green energy champion have said we should open more oil/gas well in the oceans around us. I really disagree! Drilling new wells will take years and cost £££”s. Insulate, solar and wind are better. I do not know enough about heat pumps, but Europe seems to be happy with them? My personal belief is that battery storage of solar energy would take millions out of the grid. And then providing for the rest would become manageable with larger batteries.

And oil traders made huge profits by doing deals 15 minutes before Trump made a speech about a deal with Iran. The man corrupts everything he is near.
