Reform policies are contradictory. Jenprick has said they would reinstate the 2 child benefit limit whilst cutting down on migration. With the UK’s fertility rate at 1.41 and immigration falling it makes no sense. Unemployment is 5.1% and among young over 14%. But how can this be addressed? I would start with the education system – it was probably not fit for purpose in Victorian times, and certainly is not now. Schools ban phones but cannot afford laptops – madness; there must be the technology to stop messaging in lesson times whilst encouraging students to access educational sites – there is just not a profit in it for the tecBros.
Too cold and damp today – AGAIN! And the same for the next week! I have seed catalogues out and am perusing. Mainstream tomato’s; chillies and a cucumber for the greenhouse, and then maybe some more roses out front? Anyone know of best foliage plants?
