I wonder if this is the start of a spell of civil disobedience? people feel disenfranchised – forget the opinion polls of who will get most votes – I suspect we will see non-votes developing a ‘clear lead’ in coming months. I will start a campaign for spoilt papers in the election with the intent of reforming Parliament. M.P.s of the nasty party said they had received few negative comments about ABJ recently – perhaps the young do not write letters of complaint, leaving that to the old and the trolls.
And as for mis reading the news – on seeing an article about vandalising boats in Cornwall I immediately assumed it was locals objecting to newcomers, but it was the reverse. Incomers objecting to ‘unsightly boats’ and the noise. So much for community spirit!
