BLAH BLAH LAND

Plans for smaller nuclear power plants seems reasonable if they have worked out what to do. with the waste. Hydrogen plans seem fanciful and possibly distorted by carbon companies.

Maybe they could be like me – I have solar panels and use an electric radiator during the day. If I could get reasonably priced batteries I could probably be self sufficient without a heat pump. Subsidising solar panels is cost effective as it is much cheaper than the cost of nuclear power.

Insulation is also a key no brainer. And no mention is ever made for hydroelectric power on a small scale. Corn mills were wind or water powered – many small scale industries could be powered similarly in the future. I live in a flat area but how many housers could be powered by small generators? No this is not a solution for cities but could possibly sort out 10/20% of housing and maybe a few industries that could move back to obvious locations?
