The latest mantra of the government to avoid answering difficult questions. They wish and behave like they are living in a dictatorship, but news for them, the role of the opposition is to scrutinise and criticise – hence the name opposition.

So the PM is happy to quote international stats on testing. But maybe he should keep things in perspective. Highest death rate in Europe, weakest economy, poorest showing on helping refugees, I could go on! BUT whether we have the highest number of tests in Europe, or the World or the Universe (just anticipating the idiots next bluster!), IT IS NOT WORKING! I do not care how much better than anyone else, it is still crap!
So get it working, take control away from your cronies at Deloitte, return it to local NHS Trusts. These are people who we can trust, and if they get it wrong, will be held accountable rather than directors of a financial management company who will be on their private jet to wherever faster than the speed of light.

CLIMATE CHANGE – THE POST BELOW CONTAINS SWEAR WORDS!
Covid-19 might kill me, but in the grand scheme of things that is not a big deal. Even to me! Brexit is like a feather in the wind, it will blow away. Even a lying corrupt government is irrelevant when we look to the future. What is important is doing something about climate change. This will have a major impact on my children and grandchildren and future generations. But the government is silent! (Probably a good thing in a way as they usually talk bollocks and make false promises).
BREXIT = HUMILIATION
This government seems determined to reach record beating highs of incompetence. So no deal with Europe, and none with the USA (it is unlikely that Trump will regain both Houses of Congress even if he wins a second term). Deals with Australia would seem to be environmentally unsustainable at any logical level? And even then we have to obey World Trade Organisation rules.
But we have a trade deal with Japan – not particularly different from present EU deal, but slightly better? OK so that is 0.7% of GHDP sorted, unless the government changes its mind in a few months!
THE ANARCHY – a rant!!
I thought the purpose of government was to make decisions for the benefit of the population? This government seems unable to decide on anything other than lining their own pockets or those of their cronies!
Covid -19. You cannot meet up with more than 5 members of your family, but please go to work and the pub. Your children must go to school but stay away from grandparents. You should go back to work if you can use city centre cafes and restaurants, but otherwise stay working from home.
