PRIME MINISTER QUESTIONS

There is just one question which should be repeated. “Will you resign because ..” And preferably with yes no answers. The general public loses interest after about 10 seconds of multiple questions. “Did you attend a garden party on?” Yes or No. etc. I suspect that 6 questions is not enough.

The ending can have multiple reasons, I would recommend one at a time. The speaker should also be prepared to stop the PM from talking about vaccination, boosters, and Christmas. Answer the question or shut up. The names of Tory MP’s supporting him with their braying should also be published. Sunak and Truss will sit on their front bench and nod like the dogs in the back of the car window they seem to portray.

LIAR

Another party revelation. Why so long after the events has this been divulged. The die hard Tories will complain about the press. Blame the messenger rather than the culprit. The leak to the wine and cheese party in Downing Street was obviously a government official as the press do not have access to Downing Street to take photo’s of private parties.

MIXED MESSAGES – AGAIN

With government campaign for vaccination still at the forefront of its campaign against Covid the tory right wing is manoeuvring against the cost. Calls for an end to free test kits are growing along with a demand to end all restrictions. At the same time more NHS trusts are declaring critical situations.

DOUBLE STANDARDS

Double standards and hypocrisy are underlined by the Attorney generals comments regarding the mass murderer Edward Colson’s statue. She is making political moves regarding the juries decision whilst totally ignoring police inaction over Downing Street Parties and the illusion of an enquiry into Downing Street refurbishments scandal.

USA – DEMOCRACY

Stunning statistics from USA. Most republicans believe the election of Biden was stolen from Trump. A frightening percentage think violent action is justified – in a country with more guns than people.

REES-MOGG

I agree with Rees-Mogg’s statement below.

However, Leader of the House of Commons Mr Rees-Mogg said he did not think the Bristol verdict put other monuments at risk.

COVID

How to reduce infection rate – UKHSA now relies on people registering their own LFT results. That should knock 20% of reported cases in one foul swoop. Of course some people will still need a PCR confirmation – those who are eligible for a test and trace payment, and the vulnerable.

JOHNSON

What a shambles he is. Humiliated by Angela Rayner his attitude was obnoxious and rude – Sarah Murphy on twitter said it clearly.

sarah murphy@13sarahmurphy. Johnson at PMQs – just a catastrophe of a man… a disgraceful, shouting liar, pointing and raging and talking absolute rubbish. What a shameful spectacle. And so profoundly disrespectful… to Parliament and to all of us. He is utterly revoltingly unforgivably loathsome.
