Who is to blame?

People have been bribed to go to restaurants with half price meals.

People are encouraged to go back to the work place rather than work from home (where possible).

People are encouraged to go shopping.

Schools and universities open with little social distancing at times.

Government members flout rules with impunity.

Statistically it seems that worst hit areas are those with higher numbers of old people AND poverty.

People are not only confused by rules, but angry! Two families with 3 children each cannot meet up to feed the ducks,; but unto 30 rich toffs can meet up to shoot grouse? People can go to a pub, but not meet up with family members.

Rules are not uniformly applied. Shop keepers are not, and should not be ‘police enforcers’, but it is not rocket science for them to tell their cliental to wear a mask, observe social distancing or the shop may be closed? If patrons refuse to comply, then the police could be called, thus taking the onus away from the shopkeeper.

Whose fault is it? My vote for the government for being indecisive, vague, giving mixed messages, and above all being incompetent with a vengeance! Diverting tax money into private companies regardless of their competency!
