So Abramovich wants to sell Chelski. I cannot quite understand how he could do this and pocket the money if sanctions are in place – but maybe they are not in place? The supposed prospective buyers are Hansjorg Wyss and Todd Boehly who seem to be the antithesis of Roman Abramovich. Presumably the Prime Minister will have recovered from the shambles that was PMQ’s yesterday and will name those Russians who do not have dirty money – although it has been pointed out that any money given to political parties to influence policy is dirty. (I guess this includes Trade Unions so a different system of funding needs to be found?).
