CRIS, JOHN AND TEGAN BRUTON

You know I am a bit nuts, but I so wanted to say that ……I will pop round to see you at the weekend! How cool would that be. In reality I have only been to Cornwall once in last 6 months, and then no further than Winscombe! And I would probably forget my passport or visa again! Duh! OH HOW MUCH FUN WOULD THAT BE!

You might find the following interesting – Churchill Academy

I only left a few years ago and it is already unrecognisable!. But your class was – basically class! I will forever regret that you did not all get A grades, but will be forever grateful for the opportunity to have enjoyed lessons with all you guys. I wonder how many teachers today are allowed to enjoy their lessons! Anyway read my comments on the footie and everything else on this blog. I will delete this after you have read it!

I might set up a web site to suggest that every time England play football you should drink cheap lager – then every time you go to the loo we could score. ~We won 5-1 that night and you missed all the goals!!! You could get sponsored!

I am like a little kid with this blog – I can say what I want! Can you tell your parents that a parcel will be left on their front door which is for you guys, sometime soon. (I will post to say when like I am with Amazon or whatever. It will probably be early’ish – I still get up at 5/6 am o’clock to the the dog for a walk. A bit difficult as he died 4 months ago! So now I go down to the shop and have done a deal – I sort the papers out and they provide me with cups of tea. I also make them trial my cooking! 90% ok – the 10% does not need to be discussed. Oh fuck I am burbling. Love to you all.

Ok, parcel delivered to your dad – nice chat, he is a nice person. I think I am loosing the ability to verbally communicate living in isolation! That is not a moan, just an apology to your dad! He obviously misses seeing you, no I will do that again, he obviously misses seeing Tegan and Cris! But the distance makes little difference, I have only seen my 4 grandchildren once since lockdown. I might see Tams and Corinne and Ottie (they are amazing) at the weekend – we thought we could have a wander on Dartmoor together, and I have jam, pickled onions, fruit leathers, apples, cookies, sloe gin, tomato chutney and chilli sauce for them. I think the parcel will be ok?

Just making some cheddar thins with chillies and rosemary. I can never stick to recipes! On that please do me a favour – I am really into cooking (well sometimes!) – so can you and Cris please send me any of your favourite Cayman Island recipes – post them here as comments and I will copy them up. I would suggest making you an editor of the site so you could post them yourself, but you would probably get the sack for being associated with my subversive left wing views! Just about to post about football as it is cold and damp and windy and basically shit here weather wise.
