If we declared war on Andorra (anyone bigger would be troublesome!), industry would be rolling out weapons and explosives, tanks and drones in hours. So shelve plans for more nuclear weapons, HS2 and fracking; apply emergency powers to creating solar panels, onshore wind turbines, invest in tidal and geothermal power, insulation and energy efficiency.
Stop the words and put an Action Plan into effect to save the planet. Those of you pessimists who will quote China, Brazil and USA to me – I do not care about them, they will follow if we have sustainable energy production in action by 2025. Of course it is doable!
BP and Shell etc. will jump on board in seconds once they see the plan being effected. Manufacturing can be based in the midlands/north taking the heat out of the South East/London housing market.
