Labour should concentrate on the cost of living crisis, the decline in the NHS, the decline in our wildlife, the decline in trade with Europe, the disparity between different parts of the country, corruption and sleaze in government, reform of the HoL and MP expenses, water quality of our rivers and seas, the cost of social care, rolling out clean energy and restoring the environment, protecting farmers from unfair competition. The list is endless and I have not mentioned education, the aid budget, defence spending.
With the tories running for cover and getting second incomes in preparation for a likely election defeat, with Labour listening to focus groups in the red wall and the CBI, it would seem to be an oppirtunity for the LibDems to make a comeback, or the Greens to make some progress – but they are nowhere to be seen!
