And no windfall tax on the companies handing out the benefits of the their price rise to shareholders. Or reducing VAT (a reason for Brexit was our ability to reduce VAT when we chose) which we are not doing but Spain (in the EU) is doing? Or introducing more grants to increase energy efficiency and insulation in homes – now apparently only available for rented homes (or in other words rich landlords who get the value added aspect to their investment).
The longer I write this blog, the longer I despair at the moral, social, economic corruption. Manny Shinwell said not all Conservatives were liars – it is hard to name one at the moment.
