FILO PASTRY THINGS – MAYBE SAUSAGES?

My recipe from the book included mince, onion, cumin, coriander, chilli, dates, dried cranberries, ground cloves, sunflower seeds, oregano, parsley, mint, smoked paprika, fennel seeds. I am hoping Aaron and Katie (no onion!) will advise me on next time. But it was OK I think, see what they think tomorrow and Thursday.

I am thinking less or no meat! It made it a bit greasy – so maybe better quality meat or chicken or fish. The recipe also asked for a pinch of this or that – I am not sure what a pinch is? I will ponder and think about this.

Maybe aubergine instead of the meat, add some apricots (sorry Kate), a bit more dried fruit? Taste wise maybe whizz the fennel, add a bit more chilli or paprika, if less meat may be more mint and herbs.
