What would I do?
Liverpool – sell Salah and buy Haaland, and also buy de Jong. ManC – again buy Haaland and some defensive back up. Chelsea need to sort out Lukaku situation and sell if necessary. Of the rest – Arsenal. seem to be developing OK in their own way so I would not expect major transfers. Tottenham – wok’s. have they really offered Woves 4 players for Traore? If so that is pathetic as it surely undermines the the whole team. maybe Kane will go.
Aston Villa have done some good business and could be a top 5 challenger next year? Everton will need help to avoid the drop. West Ham have been quiet? Newcastle – Trippier was probably a good signing that may have set a pattern – sign experienced professionals to ensure they stay up – then ditch them (Premiership is cruel). But most will accept a million or two. If they do not stay up the resulting carnage at St.James’Park will be interesting! Burnley and Norwich I believe are in very deep trouble, and Brentford will do well to avoid the drop. Watford – I have nfi!
lower down Sunderland seem determined to avoid promotion again. Forest Green are still on track to meet the Black Cats. Championship is a dinging battle with lots of ups and downs – at the moment between Fulham, Bournemouth and Blackburn – but a way to go yet. Vanarama League also anybodies at the moment with Halifax, Chesterfield, Boreham Wood, Notts County, Bromley, Dag and Red, Grimsby, Wrexham, Stockport and Solihull Moors all being in with a shout.
