Football week 4 results

ManU 1-0 up vs Newcastle with a goal from that man Ronaldo! rest are all 0-0.

Thoughts about other leagues before I look/listen. Fulham and WBA could open up a 3 point gap after just 6 games in the Championship. Our teams of Bristol City and Swansea seem set for yet another one of mid table hopes and fears.

Div ! – Howay the lads! Good so far without looking spectacular. Top 2 playing at SoL today. Never confident in them at the moment but they will probably have about 30000 there, Plymouth mid table whilst Ipswich are surprisingly low. Plymouth winning 2-0 against the Owls which would put them upper mid-table rather than lower mid-table!

Div 2 – Forest Green Rovers have the opportunity to go clear at the top after Harrogate drew last night. Bradford City are second. Geographically it is crazy that FGR from Nailsworth in Gloucestershire should be above the 7th biggest city in England. However FGR have been play off contenders or there about for a while. Gasheads are lower middle table.

Vanarama National League South – Chelmsford look like potential relegation candidates – It would be so nice to see them challenging for a league place that they deserved in 1968.
