GETTING THE BIG DECISIONS RIGHT

Climate change – talk of opening up more oil wells and coal mines, whilst not promoting onshore wind or other renewables.

Ukraine refugees – what a joke this lot of ner’do-wells are!

Water companies allowed to pollute our rivers with virtual impunity whilst preserving profits. Railways increase prices yet again. Energy price rises are eye watering

NHS is being privatised at record rates and nurses, doctors and other staff have to pay for parking in England.

Economic growth rates are false as they are based on a very low level and seem to be stalling.

Education is still in the mess Williamson left with this years examinees still suffering from a lack of direction by the Minister.

MP’s wages rise. House price rise (most Tories are home owners). A less often mentioned problem – energy price rises would be affordable if housing costs were not at such an inflated level.

Brexit – just ask the farmers and fishermen who voted for it en masse whether it is a success? Or maybe just the lorry drivers spending their lives in queues outside Dover? Or those looking at prices in the supermarket.

I will admit that the roll out of vaccines was excellent to start with, thanks to NHS and volunteers. The rest of the spending on covid seems to be more corrupt than a Mafia protection scam. The military assistance to Ukraine seems to have been handled well (I will forgive Wallace for spam phone call – but surely the MoD should have safeguards to prevent this from occurring). More on the next phase of the war later.

So – getting the big decisions correct seems more like a shitstorm of failure and debacles.
