They have had 2 years to prepare. Quoting money spent on NHS is irrelevant when it has been underfunded for years. We have the lowest numbers of doctors per 100000 in Europe. Half the hospital beds per 1000 than France and Germany and a quarter than Japan. Heart attack suspects told to get a lift to hospital – whilst tens of billions are staffed up the wall on test and trace. Treat and mend would be better.
