Could this be PSG’s season? Next season we can expect Man City to have Haarland or maybe Mbappe, perhaps even Kane. Liverpool are looking good in Europe again, Barcelona will take a few seasons to regroup, Real Madrid get beaten by Sheriff Tiraspol (they are Moldovian and are top of Group D – end of knowledge). Club Brugge are also obviously not a pushover having beaten Leipzig away last night. Milan lose at home to Athletico Madrid and Inter draw at Shakhtar Donetsk – so Italy may be Euro Champions but their teams are not doing so well. Juve versus Chelsea tonight. Bayern Munich are playing tonight, and I forgot to mention Borussia Dortmund winning at home to Sporting Lisbon.

Domestically Sunderland won 5-0 which is the biggest score for years! Other surprising results, Wigan losing at home to the Owls, MKDons drawing with Fleetwood, and Plymouth drawing with Crewe.

Swansea and Bristol City are both up in the smoke tonight. Seems like a bit of bad planning as their fans are not generally known for being best mates, and they could be sharing the train back west. Yet again a situation where a geographer was needed. I might look out for these potential problems in future.

My Bragging Rights Game. Kate has set a benchmark of 150 points which will be hard to beat (6 correct results of which 3 were correct scores). Adam is also consistent and not far behind on the running total. I am lagging in last place but did have a minor victory with a bonus point for the correct number of goals.

3 of the 4 semi-finalists in the Women’s FA Cup will most likely be from London and the South East.
