Actually that is a start – calling it Ulster (Not part of Eire, but also a state on its own?).
If the people of Northern Ireland were richer, would they be so antagonistic towards each others beliefs? I suspect not. For sure the belligerent bastards would still be pontificating bullshit. But the evidence is that most people want a peaceful future, and a profitable one. This means more links with Eire. Ultimately it is inevitable? Especially as the UK moves into isolationist mode.
