Europe and the EU are a multitude of independent states that have varying degrees of democracy – and it is notable that the countries identified by the shithead are amongst the most democratic; UK; Netherlands; Norway; Denmark; Sweden; France; Finland and Germany. A sensible President would – errr never have dreamt up the jackshit idea in the first place; and if they did would task European Nata to police the area. What is the point of NATO any more? Trump claims that it has not been paying its way – A European persepective would be that for too long European NATO has been a compliant supporter of American hegemony.
However now that the USA has shown that it is no longer a friend of Europe it is time to strengthen our borders, expel American bases from our countries; or maybe just increase the rent conmensurate with the cost of tariffs? What friend would tell you to have a party organised by them in your home, or even give them the house; or they would charge you !
