I repeat my view that action needs to be taken to put the brakes on this variant. Before hospitalisations or deaths increase (or not), it seems that absenteeism is already hitting workplaces. The PO say Xmas cards may not be delivered until next year. My grandson has missed many days due to staff absence at a secondary school in Cornwall, not an area with high instance of covid so far. With reported growth of those infected doubling every 2.5 days it seems the Xmas break cannot come quickly enough for those idiots.
People do care – hence the queues for booster jabs and lateral flow tests running out.
Being cynical I wonder what is the electorate these morons are speaking too? Is it the retired? Obviously not the young? The 20-40 year olds who resent those who passed exams and have better jobs than they do? (Ouch that was mean!). Are they relying on people being totally selfish and voting for lower taxes (ironic that the retired do this!) and hating the Labour Party more. Hoping that these people do not care about the environment or anyone else? Or are they just arrogant tossers who believe they can bullshit the electorate and therefore could not give a toss!
