SLEAZE

He may well find out that the public will not be so forgiving as Brexit continues to spiral the economy downwards. I do not hate all tories. I understand the basic argument of fiscal philosophy, a smaller slice of a bigger cake is larger than a bigger slice of a smaller cake. However there needs a balance between the potential size of the cakes. At present we seem to have some getting large slices of cake with little or no tax payments. There is also a social and moral element. I think it is the philosophy of one of the traditional tribes in Tanzania that in times of plenty the chief took a larger share, but in times of hardship all was shared equally. Our economy seems to have lost all semblance of fairness (note the use of the word instead of equality). Personally I would not want a Porsche or mansion because everyone else had one. I also do not want to see £40 million mansions left empty for much of the year by rich wankers.

It is not a matter of levelling up, as that implies (to give it credence is does not deserve) growth in the economy for all. Levelling out would be a better philosophy. One where everyone had an equal chance of success in life regardless of the school attended or the contacts of parents. Where hard work is rewarded in a way commensurate with effort and not a post code lottery.

That is why I will be resigning. from the Labour Party – they are not proposing anything at the moment. Corbyn’s first manifesto was liked by most – before trashed by the right wing press, and to my consternation the Guardian (especially regarding the Jewish Question – which I still do not fully understand, as it seems to be that any criticism of Israel is racist and anti-zionist). The Israeli state at the present is rather horrible and should be criticised.

Maybe not the Tory Party as in Parliament but certainly the tory party at play – Yorkshire Cricket Club and the ECB are sinking into a mire. The only one to come out with a little credit is Gary Ballance who seems to have at least been honest – and received an over the top punishment to ensure others do not show the same degree of honesty. I grew up in the middle of the last century (sounds good!) and knew that certain words were totally wrong – cunt, gay, paki, nigger, and to be honest I was not happy with any definition of a person by colour, or religion or sexuality. Even the word tart was seen to be very derogative and not one to be used freely. How these words were still acceptable in the 21st Century is both unbelievable and should result in ALL of the miscreants being punished.

And we found out why sleaze centre had to fly back from Glasgow after his rivers of flames speech – it was to visit the male only Garrick Club for a meal with old Daily Telegraph colleagues and including his old boss, a climate denier, and made a peer by Johnson, Charles Moore. I believe a chameleon would have more morality than that ….. (I have stopped using the words – but you can feel free).
