SOLAR FARMS

Reasons why this is wrong. Firstly increasing solar capacity is a relatively quick way to reduce reliance on gas. Secondly they are also relatively easy to remove and possibly will give the soil below a chance to recover from years of over-exploitation. Thirdly it would make more sense to subsidise solar panels on buildings, but the government has removed the grants! Fourth – there is much research going into the co-existance of agriculture and solar panels.

This government has resorted to “sweet shop” politics. Little children helping themselves to policies they like for them and their mates, and throwing others away without understanding.
