I want to see the NHS functioning properly again and am sure that there is much cost cutting that could be done equitably. Labour should also allow itself to borrow money for infrastructure projects that will have a return on the investment.
The conundrum is how to bring down house prices without causing hardship? House prices and mortgages and rents are all much to high – the money disappears into pockets of shareholders and a non-productive part of the economy. How to do this without the anguish of negative equity is a problem. However a debate which equates rent and mortgages alongside tax would be realistic. A person paying £1000 in tax per month gains the services provided by government, A similar payment for 30 years will see them with a huge increase in wealth. This is often at great expense to their quality of life when younger, and with young children. For this I have no practical solution but feel that it needs to be debated.

I listened very briefly to some moron who was claiming tat 4 million people voted Reform and deserve a greater voice! I could not listen for long! That is the electral system which we all had to suck with BREXIT – the election these morons probably voted for! One person even tried to defend the racist thugs by weirdly suggesting that if the rioters had behaved like Trappist Monks, left wing extremeists like Starmer! would still cause them right wing thugs. Oh my, the lack of logic is frightening. In fact there is no point debating it as these racist thugs are beyond reason.
Will Starmer have the bottle to bring in legislation to make utterances that promote this illegal rhetoric and actions, we need an implemtation of Stochastic terrorism. Members of Parliament should have a duty of service – these rules could be introduced with a large Labour majority. Easiest option would be to rush through emergency legislation to legalise asylum seekers. However that would isolate the racist element – is this good?
