U TURNS

So the Prime Minister makes a passionate appeal to change the law to protect a person who has been found to have broken the rules of the House of Commons. He sends out a minister to defend this next morning, and then a couple of hours later they U turn.

Sleaze-Dogg tries to rationalise this by getting out his thesaurus and talking about conflating and cross party support. Basically they realised that the public did not support them and they would change their views every time if the electorate showed a view different from their own. I am not sure I can have any greater contempt for them – although that will probably be changed next time Johnson or cronies open their mouths.
