Biden’s speech yesterday is obviously based on a concern, if not a fear. Those storming the Capitol a year ago had plenty of confederate flags. The underlying feeling of racism, misogyny and bigotism is abhorrent to me. How do so many people become so stupid, or to be less prescriptive, so gullible to believe that violence to reinstall Trump is justified?
It must be down to means of communication – tv media, social media and religious claptrap.
