WHO?

Apart from the rapid gammons on the right it seems that most moderate Tories are dismayed at the antics of the right wing. Where this leaves the Tory Party has to be seen. Slimeball Farage is sticking the flames to move the party to the right, or will the Reform Party cause a split? This seems quite likely. Farage is already trying to increase racial hatred and abuse.

I was surprised to hear someone say that Truss had not been given a chance in the shop today. How many chances to totally screw the economy and divide the country are needed.

To be honest it does not seem possible for a Tory Govt. to create the social cohesion necessary to make this country great again. Strikes are likely whichever Tory wins. Tax cuts for the rich did not work, so it will be back to austerity – sting the poor (again).

Labour – Starmer is doing OK at the moment but Sunak or Mordant might be a tougher prospect at the dispatch box. TBH Truss and Johnson were not up to much, and Starmer struggled against Johnson at times. At least some policies are coming out. I suspect the Tory tactic will be to generate as much industrial strife as possible and then call a general election. Shapps did this with the rail workers.

Then we have the problem with the present Cabinet – most of whom are arselicking fuckwits.Labour has few with experience in office, the Tories have few whom seem capable of running a W.I. Cake Stall.

The Lib.Dems should do OK with the anti vote. Greens might get another MP in Norwich? But do not have the ability to challenge, Lucas is brilliant, but I cannot name another Green Party spokesperson.

And if anyone reading this does not know about the iceberg lettuce and the Daily Star – they suggested seeing which one lasted longest (with a webcam)- the lettuce won!

But we are in a situation which demands a General Election. Letting Conservative MP’s select from those it has already rejected is absurd. Money will roll in forth right wing but with the decision in a week it may not be enough. Can the Daily Fail and the Torygraph print enough disingenuous bollocks to sway the MP’s. Should it need to go to the Cons.Members, again, it really would push the definition of British FairPlay and democracy into the gutter. It is interesting that the right wing are also calling for a General Election – presumably they have built up funds and the infrastructure to make them believe they can swing it for a fascist?
