The younger generation has no experience of imperial measures which are nonsense. I am 69 and still have no idea how big an acre is! Is this a further war on young people? My cook books are almost all in metric only.
Are the pro-Brexit voters so stupid as to think that a return to imperial measures will help anything? Surely it is a diversion away from government incompetence and the abject failure of Brexit ad our spurning of the world’s biggest trading block on our doorstep. Are they building us up for a trade war with the EU?
