So the real issues facing this country. Number One is climate change – COP26. Amazingly this is called COP26 because it is the 26th Conference on Climate change. Hopefully the next can be a number 2 of conferences that actually achieved something worthwhile. Could the diplomats please stay at home, we do not need compromises, that opportunity was 10 years ago. Let us see if China and Poland, Russia and Saudi Arabia, and other polluting countries are willing to be named and shamed. And if so let there be an international carbon tax that makes their products hideously expensive. And then can we some some positive real policies to promote green energy, green transport, green employment.
Number Two issue facing the country – none compare to Number One, so take your choice of; cleaning government of corruption, coping with the disaster that Brexit was always going to be, social inequality, rampant distrust of authority (including the police and teachers and health workers), policing social media in a non-censorship but legal way.
