I don’t know the accuracy of these stats, or their demographics, but it would seem that a major lockdown is going to be necessary very soon. It will one interesting to see what happens in Wales? What did the government do over the summer? Well apart from plotting things to encourage the disease (eating out scheme), or failing to act on the blindingly obvious (universities going back), getting test track and isolate up and working.
Yes other countries in Western Europe are suffering – but at least they are being honest (Germany – government announces that Covid may be out of control). And please note, some countries seem to be doing much better than us. And don’t bleat about the economy – we are taking one of the biggest hits on this too (and Brexit to come!).
