CRIME

So the murderer of Alex Pretti has gone into hiding – probably with support from ICE and even Trump himself. In fact I think it was not murder, but an execution of an unarmed man who was being restrained by several officers. And the 5 year old taken into custody by ICE is still being held. Republicans are begining to voice alarm and dissent, impeachment of Trump and his cronies is imperative – possibly at Alcatraz?

In the UK both the traditional parties are in tatters and damage control mode. Starmer because he acted like a dictator in preventing Andy Burnham from standing for Parliament – at lest 50 Labour MP’s have written a letter condemning his actions. Meanwhile over at the Tory hutch another prominent former Minister has defected to Reform or is it relate? Tory members are going purple as the HQ mentioned a mental breakdown by Braverman. Quite why they are so upset is beyond me, Suella has long been suffering from delusions and fantasy. Will the American model of bi-partite parties continue – on this side of the Atlantic it seems doomed. In the US even billionaires in the past have made no inroads the hegemony, maybe things are about to change?

Also interesting that the Daily Mails attempt to argue against the case brought by one of the royals and other media stars who allege phone tapping and surveillance, is not a denial but an attempt to claim it is timed out! And the Sun and Murdoch have already paid out more than $1 billion to keep things out of court! The Fourth Estate is a disgrace!

With the rather wet weather recently I wonder how many of the trash media will report that 10 countries have signed an agreement to create a North Sea power Grid big enough to power 143m homes! But Trump is a climate change denier despite America suffering from record low temperatures and at least 17 deaths.

Lastly – Google Americas richest cities and it will show a list with some above $100000, but the richest on average (mine) seem to be around the $80000 GDP mark. This is obviously way over most European cities; but hold on a moment. Health and education are theoretically free in the UK and other European countries. So start adding in health insurance and other costs and the gap is not great. Also add in murders and crime stats and other social stats and the picture is very different.
