I realise the benfits of capitalism, but it needs to be wholistic – not just profiteering as Truss and Kwateng, Sunak and Hunt would have us concur to. We are heading towards an election next year where the Government will focus on woke and culture wars – they have fucked everything else up. Does Starmer have the guts to set a vision for the future which involves taking the NHS back into public ownership tigether with failing railway companies? I am not confident that he is not just a watered down veture capitalist.
I think I may have been wrong regarding the anti-Sunak posters – it got attention. The dwindling number of Torygraph, Fail, and Exstress readers were exposed to vitriol about how this was wrong – despite this being their modus operandi for years/decades! Now let us see him going after the HoL (in a sensible way – reform needs discussion, but also a time frame; the Windsors (their vast wealth is not democratic or acceptable in this day and age).
I think that, other than conspiracy theorists and climate deniers, everyone knows we have to take firm action on climate change. I do not believe the BBC should be mandated to do this – but Channel 5 should have a daily bulletin with actual statistics. The BBC should also not feel it has to entertain comments from the fools who would claim bias if they refused to let the climate deniers air space. They have that on the GB not news Channel.
A different tack – the Grand National today is apparently being threatened by 300 campaigners about animal cruelty. With animals put down most years? Certainly regularly! The protesters would seem to have a point? Also is this just a dry run for MI5 and MI6 regarding the Coronation of an over priveleged NOB?
