ESSENTIAL WORKERS

Basically everyone but me! I am retired and can walk to the shop. I have, and would like to keep enough fuel in my talk for ‘just in case” which basically means 5 or so litres. Round here we do not seem to have a problem which is interesting geographically. Is the distribution of petrol stations (and their capacity) relative to population density or population size? Or are they distributed firstly in Supermarket forecourts and then geographically by distance?

Round here we have 6 in Weston-s-M, 3 on the A38, 4 on A370, 3 in Clevedon and 2 in Nailsea. So 15 for 220.000. That does not seem a lot for a basically commuter to Bristol area with rural aspects. Someone needs to investigate the geography here.
